Seasons Greetings from IRTE 2021

Happy Holidays, Everyone!   We are officially back! With a wonderful fall run of The Marvelous Mrs McCluskey in New York City, IRTE returned to live performances after an extended absence. Hopefully, the worst of the pandemic is past, and we’re looking forward to our next show, Tammy’s Bachelorette, in February.   We could not have done this without you! We wanted to reach out to everyone and say, "thank you for your support! We could not wish for a more fun and inspiring community.” The generosity you’ve shown over the years, and especially this year, have helped us bounce back. We are truly grateful to have you as followers, and to have your continued encouragement and support.   Thank you for considering the place that independent theater has in the lives of performers, theater lovers, and the community at large. If you have not done so already, please consider making IRTE part of your year-end giving by making a tax-deductible donation today. Small, independent theater companies, such as IRTE, have the freedom to explore new and creative ideas and forms while engaging audiences on a much more personal and direct level than many larger, more commercial theaters. Our annual budgets run around $10,000, with typically only 50% of that covered by ticket sales. This means that every dollar you generously share with us makes a huge impact for all involved.  To give a gift to IRTE during this charitable time of year, please go to the Fractured Atlas IRTE page and make a tax-deductible donation online. https://fundraising.fracturedatlas.org/irte If you prefer to contribute by check please send donations to: IRTE c/o Robert Baumgardner 10 W 66 St, #19-H New York, NY 10023.  Please make checks payable to "Fractured Atlas", with "IRTE" in the memo line.  IRTE is a sponsored project of Fractured Atlas, a non-profit arts service organization.  Contributions for the charitable purposes of IRTE must be made payable to “Fractured Atlas” and are tax‐deductible to the extent permitted by law.  We greatly appreciate your support and wish you a wonderful holiday season and a Happy New Year! Blessings and good cheer from all of us at IRTE! Season's Greetings from all of us characters at IRTE!

Season's Greetings from all of us characters at IRTE!

Happy Holidays, Friends! We have much to celebrate! Our sixth season this past year was a blast with four shows produced in New York City, plus trips to Fringe Festivals in Asheville, NC, and Providence, RI. Our New York shows included The Sense-ations!, a comedy about a singing group, The Experiment, a parody of sci-fi thrillers, Avoidance, a game show for introverts, and our second season of the rich-people-have-oh-so-many-problems genre comedy, Big Rich & Powerful. IRTE is so excited about 2018 because it’s IRTE’s lucky SEVENTH season! For the upcoming season, the IRTE elves have opened their workshop, and are hard at work making plans for four new improvised shows. They're hoping to bring entertainment and laughter to all, and give everyone some relief from the past year. The performing arts need your help more than ever. One of our favorite rehearsal spaces closed down this year, forcing us to find other places to develop our comedies. And, the cost of renting rehearsal studios, and theatre space increased again this year. We can't do this without contributions from people like you who want to share terrific, zany, live comedy and who want to make sure it's affordable for everybody. Please, consider making a tax deductible donation to the Improvisational Repertory Theatre Ensemble during this season of giving. Here’s how to make a tax deductible gift to IRTE in 2017 through our fiscal sponsor, Fractured Atlas. To give a gift to IRTE during this charitable time of year, please go to the Fractured Atlas IRTE page and make a tax deductible donation on-line. If you prefer, you can also donate by check. Please send contributions to IRTE c/o Robert Baumgardner, 10 W 66 St, #19-H, New York, NY 10023. Checks should be made payable to Fractured Atlas, with IRTE in the memo line. IRTE is a sponsored project of Fractured Atlas, a non-profit arts service organization. Contributions for the charitable purposes of IRTE must be made payable to “Fractured Atlas” and are tax‐deductible to the extent permitted by law. We greatly appreciate it! Good cheer and love to you, your family, and all your friends, from all of us characters at IRTE!
